POSITION NAME: Senior Strategic Credit Analyst – CS – São Paulo
YOUR MISSION WILL BE:
• Manage the CS Credit legal cases portfolio (litigation processes), ensuring continuous updates to Strategic Credit Management and the Head of Credit and Collection Brazil
• Identify opportunities within the litigation portfolio and propose agreements, campaigns, or initiatives aimed at reducing backlog and legal costs
• Monitor key litigation processes and provide timely status updates to Credit Leads
• Review and validate documents and core information sent to legal offices for new litigation cases and renegotiation processes
• Act as an advisor on legal matters for the Local Credit Community
• Serve as a liaison between Barter, Customer Finance, and Credit Teams to implement clear and efficient processes for regional teams and São Paulo
• Perform managerial analysis of customer collaterals, identifying risks and proposing improvements, documentation changes, or new guarantees
• Evaluate, together with the Strategic Credit Manager, services provided by third‑party legal providers, including cost, scope, service quality, and participation in bids when required, providing continuous reporting
• Follow up with service providers to ensure agreed service levels are met
• Maintain strategic alignment and communication with the Internal Legal Department regarding corporate guidelines
• Drive continuous improvement of internal processes, approvals, communication, and workflows related to legal topics within Credit
• Provide regular reports to Strategic Credit Management on all legal matters within the local credit community
• Analyze and report all legal expenses related to Credit and Collection Brazil
• Follow up on receivables from customer agreements and coordinate with Accounting when necessary
• Maintain and support the team regarding standard legal credit contracts
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Administration, Economics, or related fields
• Experience with litigation processes, preferably in the Agricultural Market
• Solid knowledge of collaterals and legal documents used in credit processes (mortgages, CPR, letters of guarantee, bank guarantees, articles of incorporation, etc.)
• Good knowledge of the Agricultural Market
• Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills
• Advanced English and fluency in Portuguese
• Proven experience in processes, controls, and analysis
• Strong problem‑solving skills, organization, ability to work under pressure, broad mindset, negotiation and influencing capabilities
• Leadership skills are a plus
• Strong team player
• Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
