YOUR MISSION WILL BE:
Position Purpose: The role connects Latam Crop Science strategic ambition with coherent business plans, strategic outcomes and clear overall performance visibility across the region, integrating business, financial and operating model perspectives. It also orchestrates key outcomes and leads selected transformation, change and capability-building initiatives that strengthen how the organization executes its strategy.
Scope: Regional. While the formal scope is Crop Science Latam, the position requires a strong connection with global and country-level contexts and teams.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Structure and drive cross-functional business and outcomes planning across LATAM Crop Science, consolidating and critically assessing business KPIs, market/competitive perspectives, initiatives pace and impact, and functional inputs to ensure plans are coherent and aligned with the regional strategic ambition.
- Manage an integrated view of strategy and business performance, supporting leadership and business teams in identifying required course corrections and recognizing winning paths/outcomes.
- Partner with Business, Finance, HR, Communications, DT&IT and other key interfaces to connect strategic priorities with plans, ways of working and execution.
- Translate complex business, financial and organizational signals into clear narratives and materials for leadership discussions, enabling better decisions on priorities, trade-offs and resource allocation.
- Lead or co-lead the capability-building agenda within Business Enablement, leveraging AI technologies, business steering best practices and DSO-based ways of working to elevate how the team delivers strategic and performance outcomes.
- Lead or co-lead capability-building initiatives across the organization, helping design, test and scale the evolution of operating model (DSO proficiency) by facilitating cross functional teams and organizing pragmatic, impact-focused ways of working. Take a leadership role in driving the implementation of selected changes across the organization.
- Lead or co-lead the Artificial Intelligence transformation program across the organization, driving business-led, hands-on AI use cases and embedding them into our ways of working to create tangible impact
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Agribusiness, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in Business, Marketing, Strategy, or related roles, ideally in agribusiness.
- Significant experience in Transformation and Change management. • Strong experience in strategic analysis, scenario planning and business case development.
- Proven ability to translate complex and ambiguous narratives/dynamics into actionable business implications and clear plans.
- Strategic thinking, business and financial acumen and market curiosity, with the ability to connect short-term signals and long-term trends into relevant business perspectives.
- High proficiency in applying artificial intelligence and data analytics to business contexts.
- Demonstrated success working in matrix environments, aligning multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborative and co-creative working style, with strong influence, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to synthesize complexity into clear narratives, decision frameworks and practical recommendations.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Learning agility and adaptability, with comfort operating in ambiguous and evolving environments.
- Very strong communication skills.
- Fluent English; Spanish is desirable.
