Facility and Maintenance Specialist 

Responsible for repairing and maintaining plant equipment and tools, ensuring continuous operation through timely preventive and predictive maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, executing preventive maintenance plans using SAP information, and completing corrective maintenance tasks during shifts.

The role maintains accurate maintenance records, complies with health, environmental, and safety (HES) policies, and conducts patrols to identify any abnormal findings. Additionally, prepares detailed reports on maintenance activities and ensures all tools are properly maintained and used.

Purpose

Responsible for the maintenance programs and processes of the assigned México Site to ensure timely and effective processes. Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new equipment installation. Oversees facilities design and inspection, equipment repair and installation. Ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and performs the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Key Tasks & Responsabilities

• Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, as well as the corrective maintenance for agricultural machinery, processes equipment and facility services.
• Lead, coach and develop a high performing local maintenance team, forecast and organize workflow to efficiently manage daily operations, balancing workload distribution to support employee well-being and productivity
• Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Comply with the company's internal security guidelines. Monitor and foster a safe environment when executing maintenance plans, as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Must develop and maintain a plan that ensures optimal operational effectiveness.
• Innovate low-cost automation solutions that streamline and improve operational processes.
• Serve as the critical liaison between field operations and engineering teams, spearheading equipment upgrades to enhance reliability and sustainability; champion the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Optimize operations through analysis, statistical information, automation and the use of LEAN tools to ensure quality and safety for employees, processes and products.
• Along with the Enablement Lead prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals for the responsible Site.
• Control and reduce maintenance costs while maintaining optimal equipment performance.
• Oversee administrative functions including report review, enforcement of standards, and procurement decisions related to materials and services.

Qualifications & Competences
