JOB MAIN PURPOSE:
The Channel Management Executive is responsible for driving sales growth through Key Account Management with one of the three Key Pharmacy Chain customers and Wholesaler business in charge of distributing to General Trade
This includes strategic account planning to meet business objectives, execution of objectives, strategies, budget setting, and establishing plans pertaining to all related key account activities to maximize ROI on the sales P+I.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve sustainable sales and profitability objectives of his/her key account / assigned channels. Recommends corrective actions whenever deviations occur.
- Plan, monitor and control all promotional activity and expenditure inline with business and brand strategy within allocated A&P budget, with no/negligible overspends.
- Implement Bayer CH Customer Excellence principles of POS strategy, category management / insights management and review share of shelf management/distribution targets to meet business objectives.
- Review and negotiation of annual trading terms and conduct quarterly business and category reviews/Identification of key business opportunities resulting in action plans.
- Work closely with brand and trade marketing counterparts as well as
- logistic team, to ensure accurate stocks forecast planning for seamless execution in-store.
- Ensures Bayer Corporate Compliance and Commercial Policies are enforced.
- Responsible for KA channels trade promotion activation strictly adheres to regulatory requirements and industry code of conducts.
- Actively support Head of Customer Management and Cluster VACC Leader to take on assignments or projects when need arises
YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business Administration / Business Studies or related field.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years key / chain accounts management experience with proven track record in the OTC healthcare or FMCG industry, preferably with a multinational company. Trade marketing experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of key accounts / chain accounts operations.
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a strong Initiative and drive
- Immense sense of urgency to get things done; with results driven attitude.
- Demonstrate strong ethics and integrity
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good command of English.
