Seed Genetics Analyst I 

 
   
   

MAIN PURPOSE:

  • Conduct seed molecular genetic testing in row crops.
  • Collaborate with global platform functions to ensure strong partnership and knowledge exchange to enable successful delivery of strategies.
  • Understand customer and stakeholder needs to work towards exceeding their expectations driving a customer centric mindset.
  • Assure quality enables supply and delivers products that comply with business, regulatory, and customer specifications.
  • Prioritizing and defining Quality strategy and projects with regional seed technology & platform lead as well as with global plotform leads

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of genetic purity testing using protocols defined by global platform functions.
  • Ensure timely data reporting as per defined TAT by Product Supply Service Level Agreement
  • Responsible for general lab equipment maintenance and lab areas, support in inventory management for overall operation effectiveness
  • Work with Global platform functions for validation and implementation of new test protocols.
  • Support new QC test and validation as per Global Quality Testing platform.
  • Participate in Continual Improvement projects and implement best practice.
  • Ensures compliance with all existing Safety, BioSafety, QMS and Stewardship standards
  • Promote quality culture in all lab operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate (B. Sc or technical school) level
  • Good understanding of technical aspects of laboratory procedures such as DNA extraction, PCR
  • Software skills: Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS), lab data analysis software, Power BI
  • Good self-organization, planning and communication skills.
  • Able to work under time pressure, sense of urgency and accuracy.
