Service Engineer 

 
   
   

JOB PURPOSE:

Customer-facing role: Support 1st interface roles on complex technical topics of Bayer products in Singapore, e.g., direct on-site equipment service, installation, testing and commissioning, preventive maintenance, conduct operational training to customers.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for coordinating projects (assigned territory basis) which include troubleshooting, installation, testing and commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of all Bayer Radiology products.
  • Provide operational in-service training (lead) to end-users, when necessary, across all models of Radiology devices.
  • Promote Bayer service programs and billable services including generating quotations on service parts.
  • Maintain and lead an efficient administration and customer service support processes, and service PM schedule.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and communication with end-users, OEM, and hospital BME teams.
  • Identify potential up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for Bayer products & collaborate with other customer-facing roles
  • Maintain inventory, i.e., organize and re-order as needed to maximize equipment up-time (Sr Service Engineer: lead)
  • Must follow and adhere to all company processes and procedures and training outlined and required for GDPMDS/ISO certification.
  • Complete required administrative duties and functions that are associated with job responsibilities.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

 

  • Diploma in Engineering or related field
  • Between 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in the healthcare industry
  • Strong communication and relationships in radiology
  • Customer-orientated, Team player, ability on prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to create and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of all necessary tools
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including excellent English skills (spoken & written)
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Positive and forward-looking mindset
