Job Main Purpose :
Customer-facing role: Support 1st interface roles on complex technical topics of Bayer products in Singapore, e.g., direct on-site equipment service, installation, testing and commissioning, preventive maintenance, conduct operational training to customers.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate and achieve set country top-line target for radiology business, including service contract revenue. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues on equipment. - Perform routine maintenance on equipment and repairs on products. –
- Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to provide technical support. - Project management includes project opening schedule, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, and closure. - Implement maintenance procedures and standards with reference to global service standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues - Leveraging the expertise in the regional APAC capability pool to form a customer squad and deliver customer workflow solutions and connected devices.
- Ensure alignment and effective communication across teams. - Deliver and conduct operational training to customers on any new installation or refresher training when assigned.
- Promote service programs. - Maintain and lead efficient administration work, including generating quotations on service parts, follow-up Purchase orders, and generating PM schedules. - Build and maintain strong and long-term relationships with stakeholders (end-users, OEM, and BME)
- Identify business opportunities (cross-selling, up-selling, and win over competition) and communicate with the commercial team. - Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
- Assist the Senior Service Engineer in organizing service parts inventory to maximize equipment uptime. –
- Ensure regular updates on training and certification, company standards, and compliance requirements. –
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records in SharePoint, including organizing/managing technical service emails in enquirers mailbox.
Qualification & Competencies:
- Diploma in Engineering or related field Between 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (medical devices industry)
- Strong technical expertise and strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills and experience
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Able to work under minimum supervision
