Junior Production Research Associate

PURPOSE

Execute and supervise Seed Production Research Operation on field management and data collection by improving efficiency and productivity through data analysis, research, and process development. 

MAJOR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Junior Production Research Associate is responsible for:

1. Support the search areas for experimentation, planning of agriculture experimentation, coordinate the grower contracts and grower management, seasonal people selection and training of seasonal workers.
2. Responsible for the trial's allocation and creation of planting maps, nutritional management and control of weeds, pests and diseases on trials, data collection and evaluations according to protocol, data QA/QC.
3. Organizing the logistics around field trials, managing the proper utilization of research equipment (lab and field) combined with mobile device for data collecting and accurate note taking, finalizing field trial according to plan set out.
4. Actively seeks information with experienced professional on the area and collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures or reliable system of corn hybrid seed production as well as continuous personal development.
5. Follow the internal procedures and support the compliance with legal requirements, safety/ESH initiatives in the activities by actively follow the policy and objectives of quality, safety, health and environment.
6. Other tasks as assigned.
