JOB MAIN PURPOSE

 

  • Develop middle and long term (1-3 years) country brand strategy for the assigned brands including pricing, portfolio development, life cycle management to deliver annual budget align them with integrated marketing communications plan.
  • Drive growth for mega-brands / mission brands through detailed brand health assessment, developing brand growth strategies, designing, and executing brand campaign plans. They would help drive the achievement of brand revenue, growth, channel inventory and profit margin targets in their assigned product category.
  • Ensure successful launches of new products in their respective portfolio by having strong cross-functional collaboration and tracking key milestones.
  • Achieve Sell-out, Channel Inventory and Gross Profit Targets for assigned brands in the portfolio through designing and executing brand campaign plans.
  • Conduct detailed brand health assessment for key assigned brands including target market segment, pricing, positioning, communication, and channel presence to identify the key growth levers for assigned brands and develop the medium-term brand strategy and short terms brand campaign plans based on brand health assessment.
  • Define product positioning and value proposition across crops and partner with Regional Marketing & Sales teams for successful implementation and achieve brand growth plans (including pricing strategy, market funding, market share targets, volume, brand strategies, and portfolio plans).
  • Develop a strong brand portfolio structure by proposing new brand launches as well as deletion, managing SKU (pack sizes) assortment based on benefit offering, targeting and pricing segmentation and market potential analysis.

 

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop brand & crop related tactical campaign strategy with recognition on local crops characteristic, planting season, mega & NPD brands, specific outbreak, and high channel inventory to generate growers demand that translate into selling out.
  • Monitor brand performance and introduced new brand/crop promotion ideas to improve brand performance when necessary
  • Conceptualize demand generation program (including pre-season field activities, in-season demonstration trials’ planning and management, harvest related field / market development activities) for key assigned brands
  • Develop annual calendar of marketing activities and manage annual promotion budget. Track effectiveness of campaign /communication.
  • Preparing new product launches, ensure availability and adoptions of brand packages and communication points for sales team and external customers
  • Working together with Commercial Excellence/Country S&OP Lead, align projections with financial plans/goals and ensure product availability to meet aligned forecasts.
  • Work with Marketing Services for integrated marketing communication both ATL, digital integration and
  • demand creation field activity according to brand’s strategies and value proposition.
  • Define product value and price objective, aligned with cluster / regional asset management team to enable price strategy
  • Develop tactical integrated field demand generation program and channel promotion for assigned brands together with Country Channel Lead
  • Assessing the competitive environment by tracking key competitor brands - identifying risks, opportunities, and strategic/tactical actions for the relevant brand portfolio
  • Define and align third party strategy based on LCM strategy for strategic assets, and implement the strategy with 3rd Party Innovation manager to strengthen & increase the value of key assets
  • Manage various marketing operations program to ensure excellent performance
  • Ensure compliance with the marketing budget and schedule aligned with allocated P&I budget
  • Analyze market environment, competition and government policy surrounding assigned brand and crops that will influence business operations in the near future
  • Strengthening stakeholders’ network in assigned brand with key officials, industry, scientific community and academicians to support business operations
  • Design communication tools on detailed business operation and monitoring, i.e. Demand-Supply plan, Product Launch, and SI+SO Monitoring

 

YOUR KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Education: University Graduate (Bachelors)
  • Fluent in Tagalog / regional dialects & English
  • Sound knowledge of agricultural business with at least 8 years’ experience crop protection portfolio and product management
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric thinking
  • Knowledge: Philippines geography, crops landscape and acreage potential, pest, pesticides,
  • distribution network, general external influencers, general government regulation requirement related with
  • agriculture, general socio-economic-political
  • Agility to learn new things and new requirement in the company
  • Technical Skills: MS Office, Tableau, LEAD, BRP
  • Soft skills: managerial, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiation
  • Service orientation towards internal and external customers
  • Ability to work in matrix organization, managing different stakeholders within company:
