JOB MAIN PURPOSE

 

The HR payroll position acts as the first contact point for all payroll-related matters in Bayer Philippines legal entities.

He/she will implement and follow the standard procedures of payroll to enable the correctness and accuracy of payroll.

He/she is also responsible for performing transactional tasks and general administration of standardized processes in the assigned legal entity.

 

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Coordinate with payroll vendors all payroll related transactions.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation of current status of employees’ queries, via Me@Bayer, to secure on appropriate action at the given turnaround time
  • Prepare payroll related reports requested by stakeholders.
  • Prepare month end closing payroll and timekeeping reports.
  • Coordination with the vendor and perform final pay for all resigned employees for final pay computation.
  • Validate year-end tax annualization.
  • Process off cycle payment request of BBSPI payroll transactions if needed.
  • Conduct payroll onboarding orientation for all Bayer Philippines entities New Hire Employees on a monthly basis.
  • Support different payroll audit conducted by external parts such as BIR, Deloitte, etc.
  • In-charge of PSA Reports for GBS Manila (Global Business Services) – Quarterly and Yearly
  • Ensures on time submission of the finance-related matters open items reconciliation for statutory contributions and loans
  • Prepare and perform GHP data entry for the following payroll data template such as the following:
    • IT14 Recurring income and deduction
    • IT15 One-time payment
    • IT45 – Government loans deduction
    • SL Accrual
  • New hire template Uploading of bank details, statutory and HR reports
  • Data entry of ITR details of new hire in GHP for annualization

 

YOUR KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Graduate a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Human Resources and Psychology with 3-5 years payroll experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken local language and very good English skills preferred
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written
  • Excellent know-how in the use of MS Office application, specially Excel
  • Equivalent working experience in Payroll Administration
  • Good understanding and people management skills
  • Good comprehensive knowledge of local legal regulations pertaining to payroll
  • Good knowledge of internal payroll policy
  • Good ability to build effective relationships with employees, externals providers
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Very good ability to work under pressure
  • Good attention to detail
  • Very good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Open and proactive personality
