Project Professional

PURPOSE

Project Professionals at Bayer are at the heart of the organizations transformation and have a strong contribution to Bayer’s transformation goals

The Project Professional will lead small and medium sized projects within Global Business Services or participate in larger Bayer programs with different nature of key strategic projects like transitions, implementations, mergers, and acquisitions

YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead or contribute to the successful project implementation in line with the agreed timelines.
• Ensure regular alignment within project teams to enable the application of industry best practices, techniques, and standard methodologies.
• Provide project updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, risk management and progress
• Translate business requirements and business process design into functional specifications.
• Prepare proper change management strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize resistance to change
• Contribute to the setup or improvement of operating models, policies and processes alongside the respective Global Process Owner
• Guarantee early identification of IT requirements for the project
• Ensure alignment of cross functional project impacts through interactions with different counter parts.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues on different professional levels in an international and multi-cultural environment.
• Coordinate the alignment and implementation of processes for international partners, considering both business and legal requirements.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in the relevant field Business Admin / Project Management or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience working in a project management environment
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, Scrum master certification preferred
• Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, and best practices
• Prior experience in Project Management for ERP / SAP4Hana implementations is an advantage High learning agility and flexibility to adapt to different projects based on business demand
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, leveraging those skills across different cultures and functions
• Proven ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel
• Fluent in English
