Senior Project Manager 

The Senior Project Manager will oversee or lead highly strategic Global Programs / Projects for distinct functions across the company e.g., Product Supply, Legal, Masterdata, Quality, Finance, IT, HR etc. He/she will direct the different nature of key strategic programs or projects which entail business transformation in many forms, be it processes, systems, mergers & acquisitions, carve-outs etc. Be part of Bayer’s Global Business Services CoE (Centre of Expertise) for Project Management, shaping leading practices and scaling project capabilities to enhance business flexibility and responsiveness to the market.

YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Steering the achievement of strategic targets for one or multiple lines of business.
• Overseeing the planning, implementation of an entire program / project through budgeting, resource readiness, sourcing suppliers through to project release.
• Build and motivate team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities, risks, and their respective mitigation actions.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
• Participate and/or drive feasibility studies and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Business Admin / Project Management or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
• Project Management certified Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall (PMP / PRINCE2)
• Strong experience in overseeing SAP S/4 HANA implementation
• Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Proven ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel
• Fluent in English
