Tax Audit Process Expert 

 
   
   

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Audit Support
    • Assist in conducting tax audits by:
      • Providing initial data/document request of tax auditors, including but not limited to, Balance sheet, Profit & Loss, transactional listings, TP documentation & segmentation, and account details/information.
      • Retrieving accounting documents from various systems e.g., SAP, WPA, Concur, YourDocs, etc.
      • Summarizing the result of the data extraction including analysis and summary of why e.g., a posting has been posted and contribute tax risks assessment.
      • Preparation of initial audit documentation and reports for review and submissions to tax authorities.
    • Maintain organized records of audit findings and related documents.
    • Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to support audit activities.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information for audits.
    • Schedule and coordinate audit meetings as required.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Assist in developing recommendations for improving tax compliance processes.
    • Participate in training and development programs to enhance tax audit skills.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • BA/BS degree in Tax/Fiscal, Finance, Accounting, Law or Business
  • 3+ years of work experience in taxation covering tax audit, tax compliance and/or tax accounting.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards driving process improvements.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effectively coordinating tasks and ensuring seamless collaboration in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in process improvement (i.e., identifying inefficiencies, implementing streamlined workflows, and optimizing operational performance).
  • Proficient in conducting thorough research and comprehensive data analysis.
  • Has good system knowledge, especially in SAP.
  • English language should be fluent in spoken and writing.
