VFL, PAIV & Closing Senior Associate

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record, verify, and execute tasks of moderate complexity according to process guidelines.
• Process and support Associates on process-related requests, as to the following:
  • Cost center creation and master data maintenance
  • Internal order and WBS creation and master data maintenance
  • CCA, COPA and PCA cycle maintenance
  • Correction via cycle run, COPA Korr or 9KE0 postings
  • Material master data settings and maintenance
  • Standard price and cost estimates
  • Identify potential issues for legal entities (LE) handled.
• Support Associates to ensure that issues are addressed properly and follow through issues in a timely manner.
• Perform closing activities/steps related to cost accounting and product accounting, as well as closing tasks including GRIR activity, AP Accrual analysis, IFRS9, FCV run, revenue recognition adjustment postings, sales reporting, Vistex reconciliation (if applicable), and closing checks.
• Perform internal controls, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Efficient system for distribution and corresponding quality checks.
• Update and create documentation as needed in relation to both operations and Function/Workstream involvement; monitor KPIs and take appropriate action.
• Actively participate in relevant meetings and collaborate closely with your team.
• Provide back-up support for other R2R team members.
• Proactively engage and co-create with finance stakeholders to deliver value.
• Collaborate with key business partners and global networks to ensure seamless, customer-focused operations.
• Escalate problems promptly to accelerate decisions and support issue resolution.
• Support process improvements and innovation for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performs resolution of findings to Regional Finance Hub / AccP on monthly Value Flow Monitoring via system implementation.
• Support functional projects (e.g., implementation of technical enablers, system migrations, roll-in/transitions of new services or companies).
• Comply with Bayer policies and procedures and supports company initiatives.
• Attend all mandatory functional and essential skills trainings and complete assigned MyLearnings within the agreed timeline (e.g., F2F classroom training).
• Performs ad-hoc activities on a need basis.

WHO YOU ARE

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or similar

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in any of the following:

  o Management Reporting / Financial Data Handling (including customer perspective)

  o Controlling Data Analysis & Financial Master data Management

  o Cost Accounting processes (Value Flow and/or Product Accounting & Inventory Valuation)

  o Other accounting related processes

  • Other preferred skills:

  o Experience in a Controlling Department

  o Bayer Group Reporting knowledge

  o Good Knowledge of SAP Modules CO-OM, CO-PA & EC-PCA

  o Good handlingof SAP Business Warehouse / Analysis for Office environment (queries handling & improvements)
