Asia Product Supply Enabling (Data solutions and Insights) 

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

Drives data, analytics, and digital transformation capabilities across the product supply to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and end-to-end visibility. This role partners closely with CP and S&T production, Supply Chain Management (SCM), commercial teams, IT, and external solution providers to convert business challenges into data-driven insights, dashboards, and digital solutions.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Data Science & Advanced Analytics

  • Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions to support Product Supply decision-making.
  • Build machine learning models to improve demand forecasting, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
  • Apply statistical modelling, forecasting techniques, optimization, simulation, and scenario analysis to solve complex business problems.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing, root-cause analysis, and exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities and quantify business impact.
  • Develop analytical frameworks to improve operational performance, customer experience, and supply chain resilience.

2. Data Engineering, Visualization & Insights

  • Develop and maintain scalable analytical assets, data models, and data pipelines using modern analytics tools and programming languages.
  • Design intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualization solutions that provide actionable business insights.
  • Define, monitor, and publish operational and performance KPIs across Product Supply functions.
  • Ensure analytical outputs are reliable, repeatable, and aligned to business requirements.
  • Enable self-service analytics and reporting capabilities for business stakeholders.

3. Data Strategy, Governance & Quality

  • Develop and implement data governance practices aligned with Product Supply objectives.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Distribution, Partner Services, Manufacturing, and Master Data teams to improve data quality and integrity.
  • Establish standards for data management, model governance, documentation, and analytical best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data policies and governance standards.

4. Digital Transformation & Innovation

  • Contribute to the Product Supply digital and analytics roadmap aligned with organizational and regional strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to automate decision-making, reduce manual effort, and simplify business processes.
  • Influence future data, analytics, and digital platform capabilities through business-driven recommendations.
  • Support AI and advanced analytics adoption across the Product Supply organization.

5. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Product Supply stakeholders to identify business challenges and translate them into analytical use cases and digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to prioritize opportunities and maximize business value.
  • Communicate analytical findings and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on data, analytics, AI, and digital innovation opportunities.

6. Solution Delivery & Adoption

  • Lead requirements gathering, process qualification documentation (PQD), solution validation, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Support deployment and production readiness of analytical and digital solutions.
  • Monitor model performance and continuously improve solution effectiveness.
  • Drive adoption through training, coaching, documentation, and change management activities.
  • Ensure realization of intended business outcomes and measurable value from deployed solutions.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • 5–7 years of experience in Data Science, Supply Chain Analytics, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, or Digital Enablement roles.
  • Proven experience building predictive models, machine learning solutions, and advanced analytics products.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for analytics, automation, and Machine Learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent BI platforms
