Seed Delivery Specialist

Your task and Responsabilities:

Manage nursery sets packaging and shipping to planting for Global PD sites.

Manage yield trials packaging and cassette filling operations to deliver YT sets on cassettes for field testing program.

Manage lab samples packaging of the QAQC, FP, GWS and/or other projects, to deliver the seed in the established times to laboratory.

Communicate and proactively participate in meetings, emails and projects of internal customers as well as key members of the PD teams.

Ensure people training and development (temporary employees).

Manage logistics to deliver the seed on time for global Pipeline Delivery sites, Field testing, Parent testing and Market Development, or other areas & monitor the correct execution of the seed shipping.

Follow up on headcount recruitment, supplies acquisition and maintenance plan.

Adopt and promote a safety culture within the team, implementing practices and procedures that results in a full compliance with Bayer QSSHE, Vehicle Safety, and Administrative Policies.

Improve the process with the implementation of new technologies and continuous improvement tools in order to optimize delivery times and eliminate quality errors.

Skills:

Level of studies required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Studies area: Mechatronic, electronic, electrical or industrial engineer.

2+ Years of experience working at the seed industry involved in seed processing, technology adoption, process improvement, automation.

English: Intermediate level. Ability to communicate effectively in English on seed processing and operations topics.

Excel: Intermediate level. Ability to manage records, analyze data, and organize key dates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting.

Planning and Problem Solving Skills: Experience creating work and action plans to resolve operational conflicts.

People management experience of 1+ years.

Effectiveness to accomplish assigned responsibilities.

Customer focus and results oriented person.

Ability to carry on different process with a sense of urgency
