Technical Services Lead 

The Center of Excellence (COE) Technical Services Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership and management for new product and marketed product support projects. This role supports internal and contract manufacturing initiatives and involves overseeing all technical aspects related to the division's technologies, as well as managing relationships with other COE Hubs, R&D, Product Supply (PS), and third-party vendors.

The COE Technical Services Lead will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and robustness of External Manufacturing, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.This position will provide coaching, development, and vision to their team, ensuring a best-in-class, motivated and accountable workforce.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

People:

• As a Work Team lead, they will coach and provide vision for external manufacturing technical community fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
• Leverage agile work practices supporting the teams to align and adapt resources to highest enterprise priorities.
• Foster culture of transparency of priorities and metrics empowering every team and employee to take accountability.
• Ensure regular technical forums, workshops, and training sessions are organized to enhance technical expertise and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with other R&D COE Heads and Technical Excellence and R&D Operations Leadership Team to align technical objectives with overall business goals and objectives.

Technical:

• Own and oversee the technical aspects in External Manufacturing for BCH division, ensuring lean and pragmatic cost-oriented approaches.
• Lead technical projects including Due Diligences, integration projects and technical visits, issue resolution, and implementation of solutions for the assigned technologies in External Manufacturing.
• Collaborate with other COE Hubs, R&D, PS (Product Teams / Customer teams), RMSQC, and third-party vendors to align technical objectives with overall business goals and objectives. Identify, develop, and maintain best-in-class methodology and ways-of-working in the External Manufacturing network to ensure product robustness.
• Implement a continuous improvement strategy to leverage industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to BCH in External Manufacturing.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure operations meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements in External Manufacturing.
• Support regional new product growth plans by leading technical topics for local, regional and global New Product Development projects.
• Champion best practices for technology transfer, design of experiments, and leveraging data science to maximize quality and speed of work.
• Manage troubleshooting activities for the assigned technologies in External manufacturing and support internal site on demand when needed.
• Drive RFQ process in collaboration with RMSQC.
