Manager Formulation Development 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning and prioritising jobs for Development of new formulation for global markets.
• Develop new formulations for global business through Innovation and ensure formulations meet our internal standards as well as BIS, EPA and REACH standards.
• Monitor related scientific and technical innovation (literature, patents, conferences) and translate and transfer technical/scientific progress back to Formulation Technology
• Ensure high safety standards within the area of your responsibility considering regulations, directives and laws.
• Ensure raw data, reports & documentation are archived according to company compliance guidelines and processes.
• Effective scale up and technology transfer of new products to commercial production units and provide solutions to any problems as required at own and toller production units
• Support and consult internal customers and stakeholders in R&D like respective Indication Teams , Field Solutions, Regulatory Science, Product Supply and Business/Asset Management.
• Supervise, train, and develop a group of 1-2 technicians

WHO YOU ARE:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry with 8-10 years’ experience. Good understanding of colloid and interface chemistry and the ability to apply them in formulation development activities.
• A background in formulation science or product development of biochemical, biological, biophysical science area.
• Professional experience in agricultural where interactions of products/molecules with a biological target is relevant
• Curiosity and passion for research.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset, capable to motivate and electrify team colleagues, combined with strong networking skills.
• Experience in leading people and teams and a passion to support individuals and team in their development.
