Distinguished Product Manager for HR Technology (all genders) 

Are you driven by the desire to revolutionize HR Technology and create impactful experiences for leaders, employees, and the organization? If so, we invite you to become a key player in our vibrant team as a Product Manager for HR Technology. In this influential leadership role, you will spearhead the transformation of our people experience, managing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. You will empower our teams and ensure that our systems are utilized effectively to drive success across Bayer.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage a dynamic team that plans, coordinates, executes, and delivers innovative products in HR Technology, serving as the vital link between the Bayer IT team, strategic partners, and software providers
  • Drive Market Insights: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to uncover trends, assess competitive threats, and identify exciting innovation opportunities that will keep us ahead of the curve
  • Oversee Product Lifecycle: Take charge of the entire product lifecycle—from conception to post-launch optimization—ensuring that our offerings continuously meet the evolving needs of our organization
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Analyze project inefficiencies, pinpoint automation opportunities, and implement process enhancements that drive operational excellence and efficiency
  • Translate Business Needs: Facilitate thorough business requirement analysis and convert them into technical specifications for successful system configurations and upgrades
  • Maximize Workday Potential: Promote the ongoing development and optimization of the Workday platform, introducing new functionalities to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all initiatives adhere to legal and industry best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence

 

Who are you:

 

  • You hold a university degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • You bring extensive experience in software, technology, or product management, with a proven track record of implementing and managing Workday and connectivity to payroll systems
  • You possess expertise in designing technical connectivity across enterprise architecture, utilizing multiple PaaS solutions such as ServiceNow, SAP S/4, and Content Management Systems, as well as designing HR architecture landscapes
  • You have a natural ability to lead, inspire, and coordinate teams, effectively collaborating with various business units to achieve shared objectives
  • You are a strong advocate for customer needs, driven by a results-oriented mindset
  • You are skilled in utilizing testing methods (e.g., A/B testing, focus groups) to guide product evolution
  • You excel in verbal and written communication in English, tailoring your message for diverse audiences
