Full Stack Software Engineer (Python, React) 

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer in Crop Science IT division!

You will be a part of Sellout Tracking team, working on ETL (Extract Transform Load) system, collecting inventory and sales data, processing reports and uploading data to global data warehouse. Project is hosted on Google Cloud, includes cloud functions for data processing, and Cloud Run hosted containers for Backend and 2 UI’s. You will be supposed to work mostly on Backend and data pipelines.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with a global development team to deliver and support business-critical solutions.
• Partner with developers, product managers, product designers, and business partners to prioritize work daily.
• Consistently contribute to solving organization-wide problems, including shared platforms, libraries, and frameworks.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies.
• Build relationships with key members of partner organizations.
• Advance your career by continuously developing your technical skills and knowledge.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Possess or are working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Have at least 2 years of prior software development or engineering experience.
• Good knowledge of Python, including language specifications, VM internals, runtimes, APIs, and the ecosystem.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript (or other advanced type systems such as Scala or Rust).
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, following popular paradigms, best practices, and local guidelines.
• Prior experience with cloud technologies and deployment (GCP preferred). (Nice to Have)
• API development skills, including familiarity with FastAPI or similar API frameworks, API-first approach, , parallelism and asynchrony, fault tolerance, error handling, and persistence patterns.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to dive deep into the business domain and collaborate with product experts to suggest improvements and pragmatic solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactivity, and a team player attitude.
• Willingness to learn, develop, and innovate.
• Knowledge of modern backend and frontend web frameworks.
