GenAI and LLM Operations Engineer 

 

We are seeking a dynamic and innovativeGenAI and LLM Operations Engineerto play a crucial role within our global supply chain organization. In this position, you will lead the charge in delivering AI-powered digital solutions that generate substantial business value across diverse geographies. By combining advanced technical expertise with strategic insight, you will ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge AI technologies into our supply chain operations, enabling a transformative impact on our processes.

In this transformative role, you will revolutionize supply chain operations by embedding AI into key decision-making processes, enabling predictive insights, and facilitating automation at scale. Your contributions will empower our organization to harness the full potential of AI, driving efficiency and innovation throughout our supply chain.

 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ontology Design: Take ownership of ontology design, semantic standards, and data interoperability to enhance data usability and integration. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Management/BI and Data Engineering teams, while influencing Data Science and Statistics to ensure consistent and effective modeling practices. 
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for LLM operations, model lifecycle management, and ethical AI use to maintain compliance and quality. 
  • Innovation Leadership: Continuously monitor emerging AI trends and translate insights into actionable, forward-thinking strategies. 

 

 
Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):

 

  • Generative AI (GenAI): Design and deploy generative models for predictive and prescriptive analytics, driving data-driven decision-making. Hands-on experience with frameworks for building agents and LLM-powered applications such as LangChain. 
  • LLM Operations: Operationalize large language models to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment within supply chain applications. 
  • LLM Fine-tuning: Customize and fine-tune large language models for application in domain-specific scenarios.  Experience with applying experiment-tracking tools (such as Opik or MlFlow) throughout the entire lifecycle of the model would be a plus. 
  • Python: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, analytics, and AI solutions to support strategic initiatives. 
  • Gemini: Utilize multimodal AI capabilities to facilitate advanced decision-making and enhance operational outcomes. 
  • Cloud ML Platforms: Use ML tooling and cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. 
  • Data Warehousing: Extract data from modern data warehouses such as Google bigquery for analytics. Provide feedback on warehouse infrastructure. 
  • Software Engineering: Design and develop software in a collaborative environment using version control, project management, review, and QC tooling.  
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) 
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
