As the Lead Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing quality assurance and ensuring compliance for our global IT Services and Systems. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of both GxP and non-GxP mission-critical applications and infrastructure services. You will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and verifying quality assurance standards that uphold our commitment to excellence.
 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and implement IT quality standards that align with Bayer’s vision.
  • Challenge the status quo by driving continuous improvements through innovative solutions.
  • Lead and execute quality activities (Validation/Qualification) within product squads for mission- and business-critical IT products, creating tailored Quality Management Plans aligning IT industry standard and GxP requirements.
  • Ensure compliance of IT products by overseeing timely and accurate finalization of quality activities, including authorization concepts.
  • Act as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in critical projects and serve as the primary contact during Authority Inspections.
     

Qualifications & competencies:
 

You are a Computerized System Validation expert with a deep understanding of IT quality management systems, standards, and policies. You possess a keen familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GxP, GISC, ISO 9001, and ITIL. Your technical proficiency in IT systems and services, coupled with strong analytical skills, enables you to identify and resolve quality issues effectively. You have the ability to make and enforce informed decisions and build relationships across the organization while constantly challenging the status quo by seeking and driving improvements until final implementation.
 

  • Expertise in quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in lifecycle documentation, risk assessment, and change management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action/preventive action (CAPA).
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report on quality metrics and performance.
  • Skilled in knowledge transfer and training related to IT quality and compliance.
  • Project management skills to align project goals with quality activities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to foster connections within teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to driving improvements and achieving excellence.
  • Ability to lead and motivate interdisciplinary and intercultural project teams.
