For Digital Hub Warsaw, we are looking for:
CORE Solution Design Manager - Manufacturing Procurement
The CORE (Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise) program is a game changer for Bayer as we strive to become the best in class in the industry. It aims to develop and introduce an end-to-end (e2e) business, enabled by a state-of-the art and resilient technical backbone which enables Bayer to deliver a seamless experience for our customers, suppliers and employees. CORE is a multi-year, strategic Business-led, IT-enabled global program that will facilitate our transformational journey. We are searching for passionate, diverse, and courageous people who want to be part of our cross-divisional and cross-functional team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Manufacturing and Source-to-Pay value streams of CORE to design the future Grower Management solution for Manufacturing Procurement
- Govern and monitor external suppliers’ software development, establishing and enforcing technical guardrails
- Redefine and rebuild Bayer´s processes in a greenfield approach aligned to CORE principles
- Support decision-making for functional and technical topics across multiple deployments, ensuring the CORE solution integrity and adherence to CORE guidelines (design decisions, data definitions, process definition documents, and configuration rationale documents)
- Build, onboard and train the expanded global solution design team and in the IT Hubs
- Lead System Integrator Teams in respective agile workstreams; coach and collaborate with onshore and offshore/factory scrum teams to ensure change requests are implemented within guardrails with high quality
- Maintain excellent knowledge and experience of Bayer’s Manufacturing and related state-of-the-art market IT solutions, including but not limited to S/4HANA
Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):
- Several years of experience in related enterprise systems, particularly Procurement
- Proven experience in solution design and architecture
- Executes responsibilities with accuracy, persistence, resilience and creativity, seeking to work both independently and collaboratively
- Deep understanding of Procurement Processes in SAP products, such as purchase contracts, purchase orders, service entry sheets (lean services), MIRO invoices, MMPU
- Understanding of the life-science industry (non-regulated), in particular seeds business and grower management
- Demonstrated leadership, motivation, and interpersonal skills as well as experience driving change in global matrix organizations
- Strong communication, analytical, structural problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel as needed
