Principal Product Manager
The Principal Product Manager for the Lab Enablement Platform is accountable for the successful delivery of LabVantage LIMS across 34 production laboratory sites over the next several years. This is a high-visibility, enterprise-critical role that requires strong program leadership, deep technical understanding, transparent communication, and disciplined product management execution within a regulated (GxP) environment. You provide end-to-end product and program oversight across development, validation, deployment, and operations, ensuring solutions align with platform standards, minimize customization, and enable long-term scalability and sustainability.
As a Principal Product Manager, you act as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders and a delivery leader who enables high-performing IT teams while ensuring adherence to product management, agile, and governance practices. You are also expected to responsibly leverage emerging AI-enabled tools and analytics to enhance delivery transparency, optimize resource utilization, improve decision quality, and continuously strengthen product and program execution in full alignment with GxP, data integrity, and validation requirements.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for LabVantage LIMS within the Lab Enablement Platform, ensuring alignment with platform strategy, enterprise architecture, and business outcomes;
- Lead a large-scale, multi-site delivery program, coordinating complex dependencies across development, validation, deployment, and operations;
- Provide end-to-end ownership of the LIMS lifecycle - from product discovery and design through build, validation, release, and steady-state operations;
- Ensure delivery outcomes balance business value, regulatory compliance, technical quality, operational stability, and long-term platform sustainability;
- Create, maintain, and continuously refine detailed program and product roadmaps that clearly articulate scope, sequencing, milestones, dependencies, risks, and assumptions;
- Establish clear planning, tracking, and reporting mechanisms, including near-term outcomes, delivery health indicators, dependency management, and risk mitigation strategies;
- Ensure transparent, proactive communication of progress, risks, trade-offs, financial implications, and decisions to platform leadership, business stakeholders, and senior leadership;
- Drive alignment across IT, business, validation, and vendor partners through shared understanding of roadmap, priorities, and delivery commitments;
- Leverage data-driven and AI-assisted insights to improve roadmap planning, dependency analysis, delivery forecasting, and scenario modeling across a multi-year, multi-site program;
- Explore the use of AI-supported reporting and summarization capabilities to improve the quality, timeliness, and consistency of program status, risk visibility, and leadership communications;
- Serve as a strong technical voice and advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are designed using sound engineering practices and aligned to platform standards.
WHO YOU ARE:
