For Digital Hub Warsaw, we are looking for:

 

Senior Service Manager

 

You will lead and optimize the delivery of IT services through effective vendor management and performance oversight, ensuring alignment with company standards and business objectives. The role is responsible for managing service level agreements, driving operational excellence, and maintaining strategic relationships with third-party service providers while serving as the primary liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders. This position plays a crucial role in maximizing the value of IT investments through performance monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic service delivery management, ultimately contributing to the organization's operational efficiency and technological advancement.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

  • Vendor Management of Service Delivery Contracts ( relationship management; management of supplier performance and quality of managed services within the Service Objects List; Review and monitoring of contracts delivery, operational onboarding of new applications)
  • Escalation Management
  • Major Incidents support
  • System Owner role support (if required) for orphaned applications to ensure operational continuity
  • Drive service adoption and ensure consistent service design
  • Define templates and quality standards for service descriptions, service portal, approval authority matrices, and service levels execution oversight
  • Ensure delivery of IT services as requested and service readiness
  • Evaluate service level performance and ensure to achieve the highest value from the partner ECO system (including own delivery)
  • Assist in consumption monitoring Execution
  • Responsible for facilitating the service providers by steering and managing the operational interfaces for service processes
  • Escalate, analyze, and resolve service performance issues – Reports and monitors KPIs and performance SLAs
  • Initiate request for and reviews contract changes
  • Represent Bayer in the service delivery committees Leadership
  • Build and maintains a strong relationship with all key stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement and enables innovation

 

Qualifications & Competencies:

 

  • University degree in computer science, business administration, or related field and 5+ years experience as a Service Manager
  • Performance management/transformation/ project management
  • Contract management and good practices principles
  • Business/system analysis, program/project management, or related advisory or delivery exp.
  • Performance measurement methods and tools (e.g., scorecards, volumetric, etc.)
  • Business targets and IT department strategy and roadmap
  • External service environment (e.g. related IT services, projects, initiatives, functions, etc.)
  • Service delivery and performance section of the contract(s)
  • Performance management, incl. development of Key Performance Indicators, scorecards, reports
  • IT Service Management and / or expertise in the systems, business processes and applications
  • Relevant technical IT aspects – ITIL, GISC
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships in outsourcing scenarios
  • Communication and presentation skills
