For Digital Hub Warsaw, we are looking for:


Senior Solutions Architect – Exchange


The primary objective of this role is staff augmentation. In this role you will support existing Bayer Solutions Architects on a variety of projects and initiatives related to Microsoft Exchange, including architecture topics, migrations, and operational tasks. This is a long-term engagement with the intent to contribute across multiple projects over time.
You will be fully integrated into the Collaboration Solutions Squad and will work closely with other squads such as Infrastructure, Security, and Identity & Access Management.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Support Exchange architecture and migration initiatives
  • Assist in designing and implementing Exchange Server architectures (On-Premises, Hybrid, and Exchange Online)
  • Contribute to migration projects (e.g. On-Prem to Exchange Online), including planning, execution, and post-migration support
  • Participate in architecture reviews and provide input on best practices
  • Perform Exchange administration
  • Support operational tasks related to Exchange environments
  • Automate administrative processes using PowerShell
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in collaboration with the architecture team
  • Work with infrastructure, security, and identity management to ensure seamless integration
  • Document architecture decisions, migration plans, and operational procedures
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders


Qualifications & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), Conditional Access, and Identity Management
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises, Hybrid, Exchange Online)
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration and automation
  • Understanding of hybrid architectures and cloud connectivity
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, mail flow, certificates, and firewall concepts
  • Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute)
  • Familiarity with security and monitoring solutions (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Log Analytics)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and structured manner
