Testing Research Associate
Purpose
We are looking for a Testing Research Associate to generate high-quality data on new vegetable products, enabling timely decisions in the pre-commercial breeding pipeline. You will support day-to-day testing operations, ensure data quality, and help deliver product portfolios that meet market needs.
Your Taks and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute field and protected culture trials, ensuring quality data for product advancement.
- Develop and improve testing plans aligned with business and budget objectives.
- Operate research equipment, collect and validate data and comply with seed stewardship standards.
- Analyze and visualize data to provide insights for product positioning.
- Manage grower relationships, trial sites, contracts, and part-time labor.
- Monitor market trends and support product and market development strategies.
- Implement new technologies for data collection and crop management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and equipment standards.
- Work extended hours and travel during peak seasons as required.
Key Relationships
- External: Customers, industry partners, research collaborators.
- Internal: Sales, Market Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, Product Management, Crop Teams, and Veg R&D partners.
Who are you:
- BSc. in Plant Breeding, Crop Science, or related field (min. 4 years’ experience).
- Agronomic expertise and ability to describe phenotypic traits.
- Strong data collection, analysis, and digital tool skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing growers, contracts, and negotiations.
- Excellent Polish and English communication skills.
- Valid Category B driving license.
