Position Overview:
As an Associate Director Expert Business Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing the Digital Product capabilities across R&D within the DSAI cluster. This includes coordinating digital capability rollouts, issue resolutions, process improvements, and training, as well as preparing for audits and inspections. You will work closely within DDRC, DSAI and R&D stakeholders to develop user requirements, Data Science/AI capabilities and interfaces, analyze release impacts, and ensure compliance management for GxP systems. Your expertise will support the seamless integration and maintenance of digital and DS capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Digital & DS capabilities life cycle, including issue resolution coordination, communications, training, and business operations;
- Assume the Process Manager role for GxP systems, executing compliance management and validation activities;
- Collaborate with DDRC work areas and DSAI mission leads as well as Product Owners (IT and Business) and stakeholders to specify and review user requirements for change requests and new applications;
- Analyze the impact of new capability releases and specify configuration and integration adjustments;
- Establish user requirements specifications practices and lead/manage projects for assigned for Data Science capabilities within R&D
- Interact with software vendors, business application leads, and R&D IT partners to ensure system alignment with business needs;
WHO YOU ARE:
Required:
- MSc or BSc in statistics, mathematics, informatics, computer sciences, or a similar field
- 8+ years of experience in GxP/CSV & IT project or business process design
- 8+ years of IT application business analysis and project management experience
- Worked with AI applications for coding development, translating R+D business requirements to a technical and Data Science audience
- Strong business acumen and technical background in digital validation and migration
- Strategic thinker who enjoys exploring new fields without established routines
- Strong communication skills and excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken
Preferred:
- Experience in Pharma Research and Development, good understanding of the domain as well as digital and AI capabilities used in this space
- Change management experience
- Knowledge of Clinical and Research Data Warehouses, LIMS, EDC systems, and Statistical Analysis programming environments
In the US, employees can expect to be paid a salary between $123,760 to $185,640. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
