Director Market Access Strategy, Oncology
The purpose of the Director Market Access Strategy Oncology is to provide regional support for Market Access strategy development for select Oncology franchise products and drives development of related tactics including rollout to Field Account Managers. This role will also represent Market Access in strategic planning meetings with Oncology Franchise Leadership.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Director Market Access Strategy Oncology, are to:
- Drives development of market access marketing programs, tactics and account management resources in support of the ONC portfolio Represents market access is strategic planning meetings with ONC Franchise leadership;
- Collaborates with Account Management to identify key customer segment insights and innovative opportunities for customer engagement;
- Directs vendors, budget and PRT submittals and ensures approvals for all Market Access ONC tactics;
- Ensures all programs and activities are conducted in accordance with Bayer Legal and Compliance policies, clinical strategies, and Pharma industry regulations;
- Measures program and tactic impact where applicable and iterate/ suggest modifications as needed;
- Drives rollout of all Market Access related programs and tactics for ONC brands;
- Identifies opportunities to support ONC product commercialization that are aligned with brand strategy, continuously striving for innovation Develops quarterly business updates to keep Market Access functional teams informed of brand performance and areas of focus.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Related work experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare industry required;
- Launch experience required;
- Experience identifying needs of account management team and driving the development of market access tools and tactics in support of brands;
- Deep knowledge of US healthcare environment;
- Ability to estimate project costs and manage projects within budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree preferred;
- 8+ years of Industry experience is preferred;
- Market access marketing experience is preferred;
- GPO marketing experience preferred;
- Oncology Launch experience preferred;
