YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

  • Strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail and familiarity with scientific method is desired;
  • Execute experiments and research according to protocols, collecting and documenting data, maintaining equipment and supplies and working closely with a team to share learnings and guide next steps;
  • Conduct field trials to optimize machine harvestability parameters;
  • Design analysis to draw conclusions from field trials;
  • Attentive to all safety and other trainings;

 

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. in one of the following areas: Plant Breeding, Agronomy, Plant Genetics, Plant Science;
  • Well versed in experimental design, quantitative genetics, data analysis (QA/QC, summary statistics, trait relationships, trait-genome relationships);
  • Experience with field trialing, protocol development, independent project management, mechanization/automation.
