Analytical Bench Scientist (m/f/d)
As Analytical Bench Scientist (m/f/d) you will accompany the development of chemical and biological R&D products. You will identify, develop, and implement new (bio)analytical methods to shorten development timelines and provide reliable expert assessment. This will also include performing and coordinating experiments and/or studies, as well as the leadership and cooperation of interdisciplinary analytical projects.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- You will analytically accompany R&D products and pre-market approval products
- You will provide and further develop analytical tools to DDS with emphasis on mass spectrometry and NMR
- You will support the team in connecting these methods and find best approaches to solve complex analytical challenges within the drug discovery process
- You will offer first class analytical service to all related departments, in the lab and as expert for external activities
- You will identify and develop new analytical methods and setups to shorten development timelines and optimize processes for SMOLs, Peptides and other (novel) modalities
- You will record, evaluate and distribute results and make them available to regarded stakeholders

Who you are
- (Analytical-)Chemist, Food Chemist, Pharmacist or graduate from a related field with PhD and broad experience in analytical chemistry
- Experience in Structure Elucidation via Mass Spectrometry and NMR are a must
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present complex data and topics to a larger audience (presentations, lectures, workshops, etc.)
- Experiences in Bioanalytics are an advantage
- Any other analytical technique is an advantage
- Team spirit and collaborative mindset
- Communication skills
- International experience and intercultural competence
- Fluency in English and German
