Study Director in Experimental Toxicology (all genders) 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Take responsibility as study director for pre-clinical toxicity studies under non-GLP and GLP conditions in rodents and non-rodents according to regulatory requirements (e.g. ICH/OECD)
  • Plan and coordinate non-clinical study activities
  • Collaborate and communicate closely cross-functional with internal and external stakeholders
  • Scientifically evaluate and interpret complex study results within defined timelines to support regulatory submissions of potential new therapies
  • Ensure compliance of animal welfare, GLP and occupational health regulations

  • University degree (M.Sc.) in natural sciences, toxicology, pharmacology or veterinarian (DVM) or human medical doctor (DM) combined with long-term working experience in a relevant field
  • Solid scientific understanding of animal welfare (e.g. FELASA, GV-SOLAS, Board Certified Veterinarian)
  • Knowledge and understanding of GLP regulations preferable as well as ideally comprehensive knowledge and experience in toxicology
  • Ability to analyze complex data and set up problem-solving strategies
  • Collaborative mindset as well as excellent communication capabilities and preference to work in an agile and fast-moving environment
  • Situational leadership skills as well as strong motivational skills
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
