Pre Commercial Field Supervisor 

Purpose:

This position is responsible of supervise and execute the establishment of the Pre Commercial and Foundation Crop Plans production under the highest quality standards in order to achieve the volumes established in the Business Deployment Plan & LRP, complying with safety standards, legal and corporate requirements aligned with ISO and SSHE policies. (ISO9001, ISO45001).  

Scope: Regional

Your Task & Responsibilities:  

• Assure timely pre-contracting of the fields required for the corresponding production season (Bajio and/or West)
• Planning and execution of planting in the field according to what is defined in the Crop Plan of the season.
• Supervise that all field operations are conducted in accordance with the quality standards defined by the company, and in compliance with the certified management programs.
• Plan and execute the detasseling and roguing processes in a timely manner for all the assigned fields.
• Timely and efficient management of specialized hand labor for the different activities in the production fields.
• Ensure the proper capture on digital platforms of all the information related to development processes of corn crops in the field.
• Ensure compliance about yield of harvested seed as required by the Deployment Plan & LRP.
• Be responsible for a successful and trustworthy relationship with all Growers during the production season.  

Who You Are:    

1. Bachelor education (Engineering/ Agronomy). Post graduation Degree is desired.
2. 2 years of experience in Seeds Production. Desired experience in Corn Seed Production, technical field expertise.
3. English: Advanced
