ABOUT THE POSITON

Are you a scientist or healthcare professional eager to explore the biopharmaceutical industry? Bayer (Schweiz) AG is seeking a dynamic Intern to join our local Medical Information Team within the Pharma Division. This internship offers a unique opportunity for scientists to gain insights into the Pharma industry and experience the workings of both affiliate and global organizations.

As a member of the local Medical Affairs team, your mission is to advance patient care and provide services to healthcare professionals through professional exchange and scientific services. In the Medical Information Team, you will engage daily with external healthcare professionals and patients seeking information about Bayer Pharma products.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide accurate and timely reactive information to Swiss healthcare professionals (HCP) and patients for the Bayer Pharma portfolio
• Support medical information activities within the local Medical Information Team, including entry of medical inquiries in the global medical inquiry database
• Involve yourself in the maintenance of Standard Response Documents (SRDs) and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
• Actively listen to customers and address questions in a specific and tailored manner while ensuring responses are of supreme scientific value and align with medical governance principles
• Document queries accurately in the global database
• Support the team during audits and inspections

WHO YOU ARE

• Master’s degree in human medicine or other life science-oriented studies (e.g., pharmacy, biology, veterinary medicine)
• Willingness to provide excellent services to healthcare professionals and patients
• Agile and engaged mindset
• Strong scientific background with proven ability to analyze scientific literature
• Cooperative team player with strong communication skills
• Organizational talent and the capacity to act independently
• High degree of self-motivation, resilience, endurance and reliability
• Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written; French spoken
