Technical and Commercial Advisor Bayer

Are you passionate about agriculture and ready to make a real impact? In this role, you will take ownership of business targets in your territory, working as a peer across functions to drive success. You’ll be the trusted partner for farmers, providing expert advice and helping them optimize their crop systems with Bayer's CP and seeds portfolio.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Drive Business Growth

  • Actively promote Bayer’s crop protection and seed solutions to farmers and points of sale.
  • Develop a full crop system advisory approach, considering technical, economic, and environmental factors.
  • Focus on high-value assets to support both individual and company-wide business goals.
  • Generate and manage pre-order vouchers during the winter season to secure sales.
  • Monitor customer purchasing behavior to ensure alignment with agreements.

 

Deliver Expert Advisory & Build Customer Loyalty

  • Provide timely, accurate technical advice to farmers both in and out of the season.
  • Act as the first point of contact for commercial and technical inquiries.
  • Maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Segment and prioritize customers using the RADL principle to maximize returns.
  • Keep customer data up to date in Bayer’s CRM system.

 

Identify New Opportunities & Market Trends

  • Scout for new potential customers to expand the business.
  • Share market intelligence and insights with the squad to drive tactical and strategic wins.

 

Collaborate & Execute Tactical Plans

  • Work closely with your squad to set targets and implement commercial, communication, and technical strategies.
  • Stay up to date on crop protection products, regulatory aspects, and commercial trends.
  • Lead demonstration trials in your territory to showcase technical advancements and drive adoption.

 

Embrace Digital Innovation

  • Use digital tools such as newsletters and newsfeeds to enhance customer engagement.

 

What You Bring:

  • A technical degree in agriculture
  • Proven expertise in advising farmers on disease management across crops\Strong commercial acumen and a passion for business development
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • A motivated, persuasive, and customer-focused mindset
  • Fluent in French
  • A team-oriented approach, thriving in an environment built on trust
