Regional Procurement Manager Seeds 

Processes applicable requests timely and accurately according to the assigned role and process documentation. Solves and follows up on S2P issues, seeking solutions across teams and departments while escalating identified issues. Performs internal audits and proposes and leads process improvements, identifying process exceptions. Provides ad-hoc analysis and identifies root causes for issues.

Identifies and resolves CM and S2P issues. Communicates the rationale and benefits of Content Management Best Practices. Participates in the creation and definition of KPIs based on reports and analysis.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Regional category management and accountability for sourcing and supplier management activities on regional scale within the area of Field Services, Field Inputs, External Partner Production and Growers in Mexico and Vegetables.
• Contributes to development of global category strategy Implements regional categories strategies and initiatives for his/her field services, field inputs, growers and external production partners, ensuring alignment, compliance with Procurement guideline, as well as other internal/external process standards and delivery of required business performance in his/her region.
• Establishes effective, trustful, personal relationships with key business stakeholders to set joint target agreements, aligns sourcing projects and be the contact point for all procurement related topics for his/her business stakeholder community Manages supply agreements & contracts.
• Monitors and controls contractual agreements and clauses over entire lifecycle and minimizes exposure to contractual risks in external relationships through usage of terms and conditions aligned with legal function.
• Provides country-specific market intelligence to mitigate supply risk, gain competitive advantage and make better business decisions.
• Continuously conducts detailed supplier and supply market analysis at country level looking at facts and indicating market trends in supply base and technology. Manages supplier relationships and implements supplier management principles in supply base, builds relationships and improves supplier performance.
• Incorporates company’s responsibility and commitment to sustainable business practices into category supplier relationships and ensures compliance through reports, audits and improvement plans.
• Plans and executes sourcing events via external partner to create a competitive advantage.
• Supports diversity and inclusion programs in local markets as appropriate

Who You Are:

1. BA/BS in a relevant field and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, such as MBA/MS in a business or technical field and 3-5+ years of experience.
2. Strong leadership & managerial skills at the general management level.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, influencing & problem-solving skills
4. Strong ability to manage virtual team environment Organization -executing level, intercultural & interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated analytical decision-making skills & creative thinking.
6. Specific knowledge & experience of strategic procurement, quality management systems, regulatory requirements & logistics processes, principles & practices.
7. Process management component with approach to growers
