Go-to-Market Strategy Lead (m/f/d) 

 

Bayer S.p.A. is looking for a passionate and motivated Go-to-Market Strategy Lead.

He/she will provide strategic guidance and enablement for the Go-To-Market (G2M) framework by shaping guiding principles, decision criteria and strategic recommendations that ensure coherence across commercial priorities, customer engagement models and all customer-facing functions.

This role is part of the Chapter “Strategy, Excellence & Innovation” and will steer leadership decision-making through scenario-based thinking, anticipating industry-related and general-G2M future trend, while actively contributing to sustainable short- and long-term business outcomes.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and evolve Pharma Division G2M principles, guardrails and decision frameworks for the customer-facing ecosystem (Commercial, Medical, Access, digital channels)
  • Frame strategic options and trade-offs (impact, feasibility, risk, compliance) to enable fast, high-quality decisions on focus, priorities and resource allocation for short-term and long-term
  • Identify possible innovative G2M solutions to address potential business opportunities for our local PH organization
  • Define and steer the segmentation & targeting strategic approach and framework (criteria, prioritization logic, refresh cadence) in collaboration with the cross-functional team
  • Set guardrails to align S&T with business objectives and customer strategy (who/where to focus and why)
  • Identify strategic information gaps and propose priorities for further exploration, in line with the current Cx strategy framework
  • Support structural optioning framework (sizing, deployment and territory logic) to enable effective execution by accountable owners
  • Scout for future-proof customer engagement tools and solutions (also thanks to AI revolution) to enrich our overall G2M strategy, leveraging on industry-related or general business trends

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Degree in economics, business management, engineering, marketing or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic management consulting and (pharmaceutical) international companies in commercial excellence/marketing roles
  • Proven experience in complex strategic project management and G2M execution
  • Exceptional creative and strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset, with a clear results-oriented approach
  • Analytical and data-driven profile with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic actions
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to re-prioritize as required to meet deadlines
  • Executive communication skills to engage with, influence and lead all relevant stakeholders
  • Business case & basic financial principles understanding
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Digital skills with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, generative AI tools and prompt writing, and strong digital proficiency with business insight/CRM tools
  • Fluent knowledge of English (both written and spoken) and Italian mother tongue
  • Residence or domicile in Lombardia
