YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
・Support the definition of outcomes, the respective timeline and cost planning, including development options, Go/No Go criteria, and potential termination strategies, as required.
・Conduct option space planning to enhance ability to reach better outcomes with respect to timeline, costs, risks, and opportunities.
・Accountable for cross-functional integration and management of timelines, cost, and risk management planning based on desired project/program outcomes.
・Oversee and implement the continuous improvement of project plans in adaptation of changes to the strategic framework and in alignment with relevant benchmarks.
・Provide guidance to teams for operational implementation of project plans to achieve desired outcomes of 90-day cycles and mid-term plans.
・Assess project risk profile and develop and implement measures to mitigate threats and seize opportunities.
・Support the establishment of project valuation for strategic decision making on portfolio level
・In close alignment with the respective Team Lead, facilitate and lead team meetings ensuring efficiency.
・Ensure accurate and timely project reporting in appropriate systems to support governance decisions with transparent project/portfolio information.
・Organize project communication and stakeholder management, promoting cross-functional collaboration and information flow in- and out-side of the project.
・May lead sub-teams and standing teams, e.g., Japan Development Team, or selected strategic initiatives on project/program level, under the strategic leadership of the respective PTL.
・Lead process for smooth transition of all relevant information to subsequent project/program, as required.
WHO YOU ARE:
- University degree or above in life sciences and Masters preferred (but not mandatory)
- 5 years to 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory(depending on VS the grade)
- 3+ years of experience in key development strategy-related function(s) is preferred (Clinical Development Project Management, Regulatory affairs) including, the experiences as a core member in NDA filing to approval/launch for project(s) in charge.
- Demonstrated capability to make alignments with various stakeholders
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills as well as experience in leading organizations and people through change.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Fluent writing and communication in Japanese required
- Professional working proficiency in English (TOEIC L&R 860, and TOEIC Speaking 150 or GBC 1.8 as a guide)
