Area Business Manager - SM
Position Purpose:
To implement sales strategy in assigned Area, individual working.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major tasks and responsibilities of position:
Sales
- Execution of Sales strategy to achieve targets of SM Products in Retina Specialty and Ophthalmology and existing portfolio (Neurology)
- Coverage of private clinics and key accounts (private and government Institutes)
- Customer Focus – Efficient working by catering scientific requirements and managing complexity well within timelines.
Collaboration
- With Internal Team: Unit Head/ Area Manager Team/ Sales Manager/ Marketing Team/ Sales Admin and Medical Team
- With External Team: Hospital Deans/ Medical Superintendents/ Commandants at Command Hospitals/ Health Care Professionals/ Paramedical Staff/ Hospital Pharmacists/ Chemists/ Distributors
Marketing & Sales Promotion
- Execution of the marketing strategies diligently through high in chamber efficiency
- Participation in conferences/ scientific forums not only increase brand messaging but also increase organizational image
- Take self initiatives and keep the HO team informed of the latest market information and dynamics
Reporting & Administration
- Daily reporting as per specified timelines and through the existing reporting systems and maintain records of the secondary and primary sales
- Ensure discipline in all administrative responsibilities and execute within specified timelines
5. Supply Chain
- Build an efficient distribution network – develop the existing ones and explore newer opportunities for maximum Business output
- Ensure technical operations specifications being abided by the distributors religiously particularly for thermo labile products
- Explore new areas of opportunities by synergizing with the existing business partners or appointing new supply channel partners both in trade and government institutes.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Graduate (Science background)
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in Ophthalmology / Retina Segment
- Preferably handled anti-VEGF brands
- Thorough understanding of the products and relevant market dynamics
- Customer Focus skills
- Effective Team Building skills
- Hands on software skills and aligned with recent digital developments
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
