Quality Data Science and Optimization Specialist |

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Through data analytics, help QT team and stakeholders to identify trends in quality results that can be translated into opportunities for process improvement and decision making.
- Build predictive models enabling the anticipation of decisions.
- Produce reports or dashboards that translate the data and the analyses into business insights.
- Be the focal point for global networks on data management and global or regional quality testing communities as needed, participating in calls and meetings as required.
- Improve/ implement formal data practices across the organization.
- Lead implementation of new technologies for the development and maintenance of a cohesive data strategy that allows automation and digitalization of our processes, aligned with regional and global efforts.
- Design experiments dedicated to investigating factors identified as stakeholders’ requirements or to validate new technologies (new traits, Seed Applied Solutions, platforms and method transfer).
- For Physiology coordinate experimental design and execution for new methodologies (method transfer), Lab2Land exercises as part of validation, improvement and projects, register and communicate proper Management of Change.
- In coordination with the other lab team members, coordinate project execution, conduct data analysis to identify trends able to drive solution or improvement. In addition, jointly implement findings in a practical way into quality testing operations with the support of One PSS change management methodologies.
- Perform all tasks following the standards of Safety, Quality, Health, Environment, Biosafety, Stewardship and Product Supply System defined by the Company and Legal Entities.
WHO YOU ARE
- BS Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Systems or related areas; graduate studies desirable (MS or PhD).
- At least three years of experience as a programmer/ analyst/ data management in a technical or scientific environment.
- Fluent English level.
- Experience in project development.
- Knowledge of Statistics and use of analytical software such as MiniTab and Spotfire.
- Knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python or R.
- Experience of AWS and other cloud computing technologies and platforms.
- Lean and Six Sigma.
- Risk Management.
- Desirable experience in Lab and/or seed industry.
- Proven capability to Collaborate in an interdisciplinary scenario with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs in Quality Testing keeping the customer focus and driving results.
