Internship EU Public Affairs 

 

Do you want to find out how our EU Public Affairs Office in Brussels works?  Are you interested in the European Union, interest representation and politics in general? Do you want to help us preparing our engagement with policy-makers and organise high-level events?

 

Then we are looking for you! Our EU Public Affairs Office offers an intership (3 - 6 months) as of February/March 2026. You will work with an interational team of PA professionals.  Our working language is English.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Public Affairs team in administrating, organising and coordinating policy campaigns, including events
  • Interact with different team members, other departments and external agencies
  • Research tasks on policy areas and institutional stakeholders
  • Attending events & reporting back
  • Support in preparing briefings
  • Take initiative and eager to learn new things

Knowledge skills and competencies to be acquired by the end of the internship (expected learning outcome) :

  • Understanding the culture and work-related differences in another country
  • Understanding political and business structures and processes on European level

WHO YOU ARE

You are following a relevant education for this internship: master political and social sciences, master business communication, master communication sciences, bachelor public and corporate affairs, bachelor communication graduate marketing and communication support, ....

  • Strong interest in a supporting function
  • Eager to learn and able to quickly acquire new information
  • Enjoy working in a team and dare to share your opinion with others
  • Working independently does not scare you and you are able to plan and organize your tasks adequately
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or you can learn this quickly
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • The site in Brussels is very easily accessible by public transport so a car/driving license is not required

 

 

Within the scope of your current studies the school offers an intern contract and additional insurance.  This internship is part of an educational trajectory and thus not paid.
