Credit Analyst

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Analyze customer credit, financial and industry information to establish credit limits that permit the highest profitable sales and mitigate risk exposure.
  • Develop/maintain relationships with Controllers and Finance leaders of major customers, as needed, to understand business drivers and to assess credit risk.
  • Recommend practical credit solutions that support business growth targets, optimize collections & improve DSO.
  • Lead all collection related processes, including account management, pre and post collection follow up, and delinquency reporting and analysis for key customer portfolios.  Plan credit restriction and collection tactics for risky, slow pay, and sensitive accounts.
  • Manage order process in accordance with credit policies.
  • Perform refund requests and account reconciliations to ensure payments are applied and cleared appropriately.
  • Support compliance and reporting requirements for external/ internal auditors.
  • Proactively create solid relationships with commercial business leaders to ensure effective and timely communication of credit risks and opportunities.
  • Partner and negotiate directly with customers and the business to establish special financial arrangements and agreements.
  • Provide monthly reporting to Commercial Finance and Sales regarding Aging, critical accounts, and credit utilization.
  • Review process controls (ICS, ICM, BPC) as prescribed in the desktop procedures.
  • Contribute actively to updating desktop procedures and supporting documents.
  • Optimization of credit management processes.
  • Connect and collaborate with other credit team members and the TL to ensure high-quality delivery of the Credit Management process and strategy towards the internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve, filter and otherwise escalate problem accounts to the appropriate function to accelerate credit management decisions.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance or related careers (Desirable).
  • At least 2 years of experience the finance or accounting area.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, combined with solid analytical & technical accounting skills. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral form; self-motivated with strong results orientation and possess the ability to manage through barriers. 
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis.  
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.  
  • Proven Business Partner, Strong leadership and influencing skills, Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with key stakeholders.
