YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Customer Interface Account Specialist, you will manage the service relationship with a designated Spanish and English-speaking customer base in the vegetable sector, serving as the primary contact for these accounts.

 

Your responsibilities include supporting external customers, such as plant raisers and distributors, as well as internal stakeholders like sales and logistics teams. Acting as a liaison, you will provide product information and efficiently resolve issues.

 

To succeed in this role, you must possess a passion for helping customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to empathize with and advocate for their needs. Problem-solving skills are essential, as you will troubleshoot and seek information to address customer complaints. Ultimately, your goal is to ensure customer-centricity in all operations while navigating a diverse international environment. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and build relationships over the phone.

You will report to the Customer Interface Business Partner & Team Lead.

 

The team operates in a hybrid model, working onsite two days a week at our office in Hoofddorp (Siriusdreef 36, 2132 WT). You are welcome to come onsite more frequently if you prefer.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service Relationship Management: Own the service relationship with your assigned customer base, acting as the primary communication contact for accounts and sales team members regarding service, orders, and operational activities.
  • Cross-Functional Cooperation: Collaborate with internal resources to address customer problems and deliver effective solutions.
  • Customer Inquiries: Respond quickly and accurately to all customer inquiries related to orders, supply availability, and product information, adhering to defined lead times and expectations.
  • Proactive Communication: Provide proactive updates on orders, supply availability, and product information to assigned accounts, executing opportunities that enhance customer loyalty.
  • Program Understanding: Understand marketing and operational programs related to your customer base or region, accurately explaining customer eligibility and program details.
  • Order Management: Receive and create customer sales orders, manage delivery prioritization, and handle invoicing and other fiscal documents.
  • Performance Monitoring: Understand relevant KPIs and metrics for your role and department, maintaining ongoing knowledge of current performance and proactively closing performance gaps in partnership with the Business Partner & Team Lead.

 

WHO YOU ARE

You naturally enjoy working with people and are solution oriented. Your ability to empathize with and advocate for our clients' needs energizes you. You have experience in professional communication and can effectively prioritize your workload.

Additionally, you possess:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English at a professional level (C2)
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, Account Management, or Sales
  • 2-5 years of experience in services related to Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SAP and SFDC is a plus

To be considered for this position, you must currently reside in the Netherlands and be within commuting distance of our office in Hoofddorp (Siriusdreef 36, 2132 WT).
